Maison Hauller is a French company founded in 1775, during the «golden age» of viticulture. As both coopers and wine grape growers, 5 generations of the family successfully transmitted their know-how in both professions. Today, as enoglogists, viticulturists and wineshop owners they carry on the tradition. Over the years, the company has continued to invest in order to supply wines to it’s clients that combine tradition and modernity.

Alsace, France, Alsace Riesling appellation
-
The Alsace Riesling appellation is one of the most prestigious appellations in the Alsace wine region, dedicated exclusively to wines made from the Riesling grape variety. Stretching along the foothills of the Vosges Mountains, the vineyards benefit from one of the driest climates in France, allowing the grapes to ripen slowly while preserving their freshness and aromatic intensity.
The vineyards are planted on a remarkable diversity of soils, including granite, limestone, sandstone, marl and volcanic formations, giving each wine its own distinctive character. Riesling is considered the noblest white grape variety of Alsace, producing wines renowned for their elegance, purity and exceptional ageing potential.
The landscapes of Alsace Riesling are characterized by rolling vineyards, flower-filled villages and half-timbered houses along the famous Alsace Wine Route. Visitors can discover historic wineries, traditional wine cellars and breathtaking vineyard views while enjoying tastings with local winegrowers. This appellation perfectly reflects the heritage and excellence of Alsatian winemaking.

On the palate, it is dry, fresh and lively, with crisp acidity, remarkable balance and a long, refreshing finish.

Alsace Riesling pairs perfectly with seafood, oysters, grilled fish, sushi, shellfish and white meats. It is also an excellent match for traditional Alsatian dishes such as choucroute garnie, as well as spicy Asian cuisine.
